If when you open the Internet browser a window appears requiring you
to enter a password, this means that the Web content control is installed
and enabled.
The computer supervisor (the person that installed and configured the
program) can install this function to restrict access to Internet content
by other computer users.
If you are the computer supervisor: When you open your Internet browser you should identify yourself as the supervisor with the passwords you chose on installing the Web content control. From then on you can use the Internet with complete freedom and no filters will be applied. When you finish using the Internet, right-click the program icon in the taskbar (next to the system clock) and select the option Close web session. In this way, other users that want to use the Internet will have to identify themselves first.
Note: If you don't remember your supervisor password and you want to use the Web content control, you will have to reinstall program.
If you are not the
computer supervisor: When you open the Internet browser, select
your name from the drop-down menu that appears and then enter the password
that the supervisor has given you, respecting upper and lowercase characters.
When you finish using the Internet, right-click the program icon in the
taskbar (next to the system clock) and select the option Close
web session.
The computer supervisor (the person who installed and configured the program) is the only person who can disable the Web content control. If you are the supervisor and you want to disable this function, follow these instructions:
Click Status in the main window in .
In the Unwanted content filters section, click Settings.
Click the option Web content control in the panel on the left.
Into your supervisor password, respecting upper and lower case characters.
Disable the Enable Internet content control checkbox.
Once the Web content control is disabled you will not require a password to access the Internet.
